Comedy and make-up? Perfect!

I mentioned HSN’s Faces of Beautiful You a while back, but I’m loving it even MORE now!

Besides the episodes and the webcam conversations, the girls have their own blogs and they’re also on Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter!

I can’t decide if I’m more like Hallie (’cause I also act) or like Smith (because I’m addicted to online shopping). Either way, the episodes are short, fun, and teach me a lot about beauty products and how to buy & use make-up quickly and on a budget.

If you haven’t yet, check it out!

Capucine going to Hollywood?

Have you seen that adorable little French girl who makes even more adorable videos?

A Hollywood studio got hold of one of her videos and actually gave her notes to improve the story!  Unbelievable!

Hollywood really IS running out of ideas…

HSN Faces of Beautiful You is awesome!

Finally, HSN has combined my two favorite things: TV comedy and beauty products!

Their new online show follows three young ladies in L.A. whose problems get solved with the help of HSN beauty and skin care products.

My male friends declare that the girls are “hotties” but I just like it for the makeup!

A reality show about hobbits?

…but hobbits aren’t real!

This strange demo reel shows a makeover show where people turn your house into a “hobbit house.” Would you volunteer for this? This is why TV makes me do crazy things!

How to stay on top of YouTube

There are so many videos and commercials and parodies and web series on YouTube, it’s impossible to sort through it.  I found that PopTub does a good job of finding the best, newest, most interesting stuff — every day.

It’s a quick, short show, too.  Here’s a sample:

Poachers get what they deserve

It’s estimated that 2,000 creatures on the endangered species list are killed by hunters and poachers every year in America.  Park rangers and the US Dept. of Fish & Wildlife can only do so much. It’s vigilantes like this that help make a difference.

I hate Sugar!

That’s Jessica “Sugar” Kiper on Survivor.

Here’s why:

She’s beautiful.

She’s a pin-up model.

She has cool tattoos.

She has both tribes wrapped around her finger.

She’s lived all over the country.

She just married a movie director.

Even her nickname rocks.

Sigh… I hate her so much because I love her.

I hope she wins.
